We couldn't be more excited to present to you the wines of Kobayashi. It is quite a remarkable journey for Travis Allen and his wife Mario Allen. Over the last several years the Allens have taken the Washington wine scene by storm. A trained nurse-anesthetist, Allen crafts highly novel, single vineyard bottlings that are made in limited production. The wines have a wonderful harmony to them, showing wonderful poise, weight and structure.  I had set up an appointment to taste the new releases with Travis when he suggested a shop tasting for all of you.  Let's Go!  Straight up, Travis's and Mario's wine have blown me out of the water with sure pleasure.  Travis is making some of the most exciting wines coming out of Washington today.
