Exploring Loire Valley France With Ben Reece
friday 3-5:30

January 30, 2026

If ever a river and the surrounding landscapes encapsulated the French national identity and lifestyle, it would surely be the Loire and the wine regions that line it. Stretching from one side of the country to the other, the river of kings has been the homeland  to a wide range of wines, from Muscadet in the west, through Saumur-Champigny and Chinon, to Sancerre and  Pouilly-Fumé in the east. The Loire Valley uses a diverse range of grapes, with key whites being Chenin Blanc (for sweet, dry, sparkling wines) and Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé), plus Melon de Bourgogne (Muscadet). Signature reds feature Cabernet Franc (Chinon, Bourgueil), along with Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Malbec (Côt).

We welcome one of our all time favorite reps to help you explore the world of wines from the Loire Valley. To give you an idea how fun Ben is here is a link to him promoting this tasting.  It's worth a view- CLICK
