Château La Fleur de Boüard is a prominent wine estate in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France. It is owned and managed by the de Boüard family, who are most famous for their ownership of the prestigious Saint-Émilion estate, Château Angélus. Purchased in 1998 by Hubert de Boüard, the estate was originally known as La Fleur Saint Georges. Since 2012, it has been managed by his daughter, Coralie de Boüard. The 72 acre vineyard is located on the Néac plateau, featuring a terroir of clay, sand, and gravel. It sits on a hillside facing some of the most famous growths of neighboring Pomerol, including Château Pétrus. The estate is known for its modern facilities, including "upside-down" conical stainless steel tanks that use gravity-flow technology to treat the grapes gently during fermentation. The wines are typically blends dominated by Merlot (~80%), with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. They are characterized as juicy, elegant, and fruit-forward, often aging for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels.
