Chehalem Mountains, Oregon, $37.99
Planted in 1983, chardonnay at corral creek is dijon clone on sedimentary, laurelwood soil located in the chehalem mountains ava. Their swale-like curved rows produce the only southern-facing fruit in statera’s program. Like all of chehalem’s vineyards, corral creek is conscientiously and meticulously farmed without the use of herbicides. Chardonnay planted on this site produces multi-layered wines that are expressive of each vintage and yet quintessentially corral creek. Winery Notes.
