“perhaps Mimmo is defined as a “Little Boca.”
Yes - it is less structured and riper. Yes - parts of “Boca DOC” (Nebbiolo and Vepsolina grapes) are blended (after two years of aging in large barrels) together with riper Croatina grapes (30%). And yes it does produce a lighter wine that is easier to drink younger than the "Boca DOC.” But Mimmo is so delicious that I hate to call it anything other than - well, than, Mimmo! It is ripe with red fruits and a slight floral note. Super balanced yet lending a nice grapey, fruity tannin with a soft elegance and long-lasting finish”
