Rioja, Spain, $20.99
“Bodegas Zugober in Lapuebla de Labarca in La Rioja Alavesa was founded in 1987 by the young enologists, Eduardo Gomez and Isabel Bernardo, who, coming from families with a long winemaking tradition, were determined to set up a modern winery based on old winemaking traditions. The Zugober vineyards are comprised of 85% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, 3% Garnacha and 7% Viura and Malvasia. Bodegas Zugober's markets their wines under the name 'Belezos:' a family-run winery of limited production with a particular focus on innovation, modern technology & extreme quality.
This Crianza is incredibly elegant and aromatic; intense and full bodied. Smooth and suave in every sense of the word. This wine boasts great fruit, spice as well as earthy nuances. A wine that compliments any meal. 95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano.”
