Saget la Perriere
2011 Vouvray "Marie de Beauregard", Loire Valley France
Notes of green herbs-chive and thyme, wet stones, round and juicy with apples and pears bouncing around. Creamy middle with orange blossoms and minerals take you to a land with a little sugar mid palate then it whisked away at the end with vibrant acidity.
The Saget family is now in it’s 9th generation as vintners and growers. This Vouvray Marie de Beauregard comes from an estate located in a village called “La Roche Corbon” near the city of Vouvray . The name “Marie de Beauregard” is a homage to the first owner’s wife. Say YES to CHENIN BLANC.
